Blackburn Rovers supporter for 40 years. Have been to all but 8 of the original 92 with the Rovers before the conference became a 5th division plus several non league grounds in the cup. My favourite ground has got to be Fulham because it retains an old fashioned feel to it (freezing cold in winter though as the wind from The Thames blows straight towards the away section.) Strangely enough probably at my best supporting the team when not living in Blackburn - 5 years in Liverpool where I hardly missed a match home or away (mostly hitch-hiking) and 19 years in London where nearly every match was an away match travel wise. Worst ground probably Colchester in the eighties - a couple of hundred Rovers fans crammed onto 8 steps in a corner of the ground.
Most memorable match is probably a 5-2 victory over Plymouth Argyle when I was a 12 year old kid watching Rovers get out of the old Third Division - 2-0 down at one point. Worst memory is a 5 or 6 nil drubbing at Grimsby on a cold Tuesday night a long time ago when the result mattered more to me than they do now.
Fondest memories re the pubs I have visited was a regular trip to a pub not far from the Nottingham railway station where I appeared to have developed a reputation as an Elvis fan. So whenever I turned up against County or Forest Elvis music was played non stop on the jukebox and I was given a free Steak and Ale Pie.
Probably the worst experience at a ground was when a load of West Ham fans were in the ground at Reading - I think their match was postponed - and a load of trouble sparked as we were leaving the ground - not a pleasant sight.
